Sales Executive

Description:

  • To optimise sales opportunities with optimum profitability and maximum customer satisfaction, whilst ensuring monthly objectives and targets are met
  • Prospect for new customers and maintain existing customer relationships
  • Contact possible new/existing customers daily (i.e. email, phone etc.)
  • Record all sales activities on Focus Pro
  • Actively market/advertise products and brand to existing/non-existing customers; creating continuous brand/product awareness
  • Receive, welcome and attend to all walk-in customers on show room floor
  • Attend to general telephonic enquiries
  • Establish customer needs by asking open questions, actively listening and taking notes
  • Sell vehicle features and personalised benefits
  • Explain technical details/features in a simple and understanding manner and highlight benefits to add value
  • Present the product on the customers' needs and desires
  • Prepare for a demonstration drive (i.e. planned route, fuelled vehicle etc.) and ensure the vehicle is clean
  • Ensure that the demonstration process is adhered to
  • Handle customer questions and overcome objections
  • Acknowledge customer questions and objections
  • Present and negotiate confidently
  • Close the vehicle sale
  • Assist customers with basic financial and insurance inquiries and/or refer to F & I Manger
  • Professional handover of vehicle to customer
  • Ensure the vehicle is in perfect condition for handover
  • Keep the customer regularly informed regarding the build or delivery progress of the order
  • Ensure all administration relating to handover is completed accurately and timeously
  • Ensure correct handling of trade-inn administration
  • Ensure all monies due are collected prior to vehicle delivery handover
  • Follow up all existing customers and seek new referrals
  • Establish re-purchase intention by reviewing all existing client data
  • Ensure all dealership demonstration vehicles are readily available and all vehicles sales debt collection documentation are completed
  • Fuel up all demonstration vehicles
  • Accurate 'booking-out' demonstration vehicles
  • Ensure all demonstration vehicles are available for test-drives
  • Report any possible damages to vehicles
  • Complete all vehicle sales files accurately
  • Submit vehicle sales files timeously
  • Complete vehicle sales debtor list
  • Attend weekly sales meetings

Job Requirements:

  • Driver's license
  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
  • Computer literate (MS Office suite)
  • 5 years Sales experience
  • Tertiary Marketing and or/Sales qualification (advantageous)
  • An effective understanding of the sales cycle
